ABOUT US

OUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Miranda Shumborski, MscPt, Cert.Canine & Equine Rehabilitation

Miranda graduated from the University of Alberta in 2019 but her journey into physiotherapy began well before that.  In 2012 Miranda experienced a serious sporting injury which required rehabilitation.  From there she fell in love with the musculoskeletal system and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, for all, through physical activity.  Naturally, this led her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Miranda’s passion for physiotherapy extended to all species and she quickly began taking further education in both Canine and Equine rehabilitation, completing Diplomas in both.

With special interest in the aging animal, Miranda is passionate about promoting the health and wellness of our furry friends well into their senior years.   By applying preventative practices early on in their life cycle, she believes that all animals can age gracefully and stay healthy beyond expectations.

Currently, Miranda is working on the completion of her acupuncture certification. Soon she will add that to her growing skillset and expand the holistic side of her practice.

When not working Miranda can be found hanging out with her dog, Bugsy, on the mountain bike trails or riding her horse, Stetson.

Testimonials from You

"This was my first experience with Unified Rehab Solutions and I was pleased with Miranda's treatment of my dog's hip.   Her explanations of what happened and her treatment were easy to follow.  As a result my dog no longer limps or favors that hip.  I would definitely recommend her to my friends and call upon her again if my dog needs physio again.  "
